When I try to log in to Meetcam chat on my new laptop (which never caused a problem before), I get an error with an add-on (Ulead) that causes IE7 to close down.

Any ideas what this could be about and how to deal with it?

thanks

Could either be a codec issue with the Ulead add -on or an IE7 issue, in either case uninstall...

Ive heard all these nasty things said about IE7 throughout my time at Meetcam, which has been since day 5 I think, And when IE7 came out I downloaded it and have had zero problems with it and Meetcam..However,IE7 has been crashing ALOT on me nowadays and just not here.So I have my trusty Maxthon for backup!;)...

Some people have had success with Vista, but like any any new MS software I would wait at least 6 months, preferably longer for some of the bugs to ironed out....
Vista also comes loaded with DRM software, some manufactuers have yet to produce drivers for their hardware, some games don`t work etc....

But hey, don`t let me put you off... hehehe ;)

The specific problem appears to be with the cfweb<something>.ocx add-on...

Does this help anyone be inspired?
