I upgraded to Internet Explorer 8 the other day and since then, I can't enter any chatrooms. All i get is a little red X in the top left of the main blue section.
I've tried clicking the compatability button, but makes no difference. I'm running on Windows XP.
Thanks for your help if you know what to do.

James, there are a number of threads on this subject. You can try using the Search function in the top righthand corner or just browsing through the webcam help and chat help forums... if you don't want to wait til one of the resident techies respond. :P

Have tried all the things I can find in the meetcam search thingy, with no such luck.
Thanks though guys, will have to wait for a tech guy.

Try setting ie8 protected mode to 'off'.

The red 'X' indicates a problem with the Camfrog ActiveX plugin. I would reccommend Removing your CamfrogWEB Advanced ActiveX plugin (using Add/remove programs) and trying to get into chat again. It should prompt you to re-install it.
Also, check your Internet Explorer security & content settings are set to the 'default' settings.
