So... I rarely check the forums, but i have been somewhat since becoming an op... and I realize I do have an idea-although I'm not going to check 6+previous pages of ideas to see if it's been said already.
IDEA:
For underground rock groups they have promotional teams... what if you set up a promotional team, sending out stickers flyers keychains etc. cheap and effective promotional ideas for people to run around and place in interested areas-ie cafes, computer lounges, anywhere with wifi capability, campus', etc. (If not sending them anymore than a few stickers, and a link to a flyer to save some money.)
It may cost you a few bits of spare change however the outcome could be a lot greater. I do know thats how I helped out my friends garage band, and look- they're on MTV now. So.. *shrug*
