MEETCAM OLYMPICS

8 events over the course of 8 days (2 events per server) with the goal to determine the best of Meetcam.

The servers will battle each other:

• Gold (5 points)
• Silver (3 points)
• Bronze (1 point)

People can enter multiple events, but unless otherwise noted, once they represent a server for one event, they can not switch their allegiance to another server.

The events are as follows

1. Scavenger Hunt - 3 people any sex per server - Saturday, August 11th - 12:00 Noon Eastern US - TANG
2. Costume Contest - unlimited participants per server - Sunday, August 12th - 6:00 PM Eastern US time - Main
3. Name That Tune - unlimited participants per server - Monday, August 13th - 10:00 PM Eastern US - Erotica
4. Karoake/Singing Contest- 2 males and 2 females per server - Tuesday, August 14th - 8:00 PM Eastern US - E-Zone
5. Trivia - unlimited participants per server - Wednesday, August 15th - 9:00 PM Eastern US - E-Zone
6. Simon Says - 2 males and 2 females per server - Thursday, August 16th - 8:30 PM Eastern US - Main
7. Drinking Contest - 2 males and 2 females per server - Friday, August 17th - 8:00 PM Eastern US - Erotica
8. Striptease - unlimited particpants per server - Saturday, August 18th - 6:30 Eastern US - TANG

All events to be held in specially created Meetcam Olympic Rooms. No penalty will be assessed if a server can not fulfill the number of slots per event. It just lessens their chances to win gold.


Stay tuned for more details of each event, which I will reveal in the upcoming days. However expect most events to maintain similiar rules as last year. Servers begin recruiting your contestants now.

EVENT #1

First Event - Scavenger Hunt - Saturday, August 11th -TANG- Time 12:00 Noon Eastern US time



Rules:

• 3 people to represent each server
• The three participants can be any combination of males/females
• I will say each item one at a time over the mic and type it in the room
• The first person back with said item wins a point for himself
• Each person is playing as an individual, therefore one server could sweep Gold, Silver, and Bronze
• 20 Items on the list in total
• Will have tiebreaker hunts for 1st if needed
• If ties for second, both people take home silver "medals" and no bronze
• If tie for 3rd place, all those tied will take home bronze "medals"
• Server owners have final say on which three people will represent their server, however if others want to participate and a server does not have a full roster, they can participate for that server. For example if Main only has two people in the contest and all the other rosters are full, you can join Main's team even if the owner's unavailable to validate your particpation
• Once you participate for a server for this event, you can not participate for another server in an individual event (unless otherwise noted). For example if you represent E-zone for the Scavenger Hunt, you can not represent Erotica for Karoake
• If you participate in this event, you can still enter other events. For example if you do Scavenger Hunt for TANG, you can do the Drinking Contest for TANG
• Once the Hunt begins, servers can not change their rosters for any reasons
• All judgements by FlashRedux are final during the event

For this event, I will require three assistant spotters. They can not be server owners, but operators are allowed. I will choose those spotters during the event.

EVENT #2

Second Event - Costume Contest - Sunday, August 12th - Main - Time 6:00 PM Eastern US time



Rules:

• Unlimited number of entrants per server, both male and female
• Medals will be given to the top 3 males and the top 3 females
• The winner will then pick which server they represent, they do not have to announce prior to final results
• The offcial judging will be held at 7:00 pm EST, the contestants have to be in the room at that time
• The judging will be subjective, but the judges will look for creativity and overall execution of the costume
• Props and assistance from other people are allowed
• Only one costume is allowed (meaning no costume changes, pick a costume and stick with it)
• There will be a total of at least 5 judges including myself
• Once you medal for a server for this event, you can not participate for another server in an individual event (unless otherwise noted). For example if you represent E-zone for the Scavenger Hunt, you can not represent Erotica for Strip Tease
• However if you dress in costume and do not medal, you are still eligible to particpate in the Olympics for any other server
• If you participate in this event, you can still enter other events. For example if you do Scavenger Hunt for TANG, you can do the Strip Tease for TANG
• All judgements by FlashRedux are final during the event

For this event, I will require four judges. They can not be server owners, but operators are allowed. I will choose these judges during the event.

Event #3

Third Event - Name That Tune - Monday, August 13th -Erotica - Time 10:00 PM Eastern US time



Rules:

• Unlimited number of participants per server
• 30 songs will be played, one at a time, through my microphone
• The songs span multiple decades and various styles
• First response I see wins a point for their team
• THIS IS THE ONLY EVENT WERE YOU CAN SWITCH SERVER ALLEGIANCES - meaning if you did one event for Main, you can do this one for E-Zone
• You can even switch allegiances during the event itself
• I will award team points based on the color font I see entering the correct answer
  Purple = Main
  Blue = E-Zone
  Green = TANG
  Red = Erotica
• All other colors will be ignored, however variations of red, blue, green, and purple will count to a teams total. For example marroon will be considered as red, etc.
• To win the point, the guesser must guess both the artist and song title
• If there is a tie for first place one tiebreaker song will be played
• If ties for second, all teams tied will take home silver "medals" and no bronze
• If tie for 3rd place, both teams will take home bronze "medals"
• All judgements by FlashRedux are final during the event

Event #5

Fourth Event - Trivia Contest - Wednesday, August 15th - E-Zone - Time 9:00 PM Eastern US Time

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS DIFFERENT RULES THEN LAST YEAR

Rules:

• Unlimited number of participants per server
• The trivia will be general knowledge trivia
• 50 Questions will be read over mic and posted in the room
• Spelling isn't required (unless otherwise stated in the question) as long as I can clearly identify the answer
• The top three people with the most points at midnight Eastern US Time will receive the "medals"
• If ties for first, both people take home gold "medals," no silvers will be rewarded, but there will be a bronze
• If ties for second, all those tied people take home silver "medals" and no bronze
• If tie for 3rd place, all those tied will take home bronze "medals"
• People can declare which server they are playing for after the results are finalized
• Once you participate for a server for this event, you can not participate for another server in an individual event (unless otherwise noted). For example if you represent E-zone for the Scavenger Hunt, you can not represent Erotica for Trivia
• If you participate in this event, you can still enter other events. For example if you do Trivia for TANG, you can do the Drinking Contest for TANG
• All judgements by FlashRedux are final during the event

While I realize that there is a chance for multiple answers are eligible pending how questions are phrased, I will only accept specific answers. There will be no trick questions, so the most obvious answer is correct. Excessive complaining or arguing could lead to docking of points.

EVENT #4

Fifth Event - Singing/Karaoke Contest - Tuesday, August 14th - EZone - Time 8:00 PM Eastern US time



Rules:

• 2 males and 2 Females per Server
• Medals for top three males and top three females
• Instruments are allowed
• Background music is allowed
• Original songs are allowed
• Dancing and other production values are allowed
• 4 judges (to be named at the event) and myself will judge the contest
• Judges will judge on vocal quality and overall performance
• Server owners have final say on which four people will represent their server, however if others want to participate and a server does not have a full roster, they can participate fir that server. For example if Main only has two people in the contest and all the other rosters are full, you can join Main's team even if the owner's unavailable to validate your particpation
• Once you participate for a server for this event, you can not participate for another server in an individual event (unless otherwise noted). For example if you represent E-zone for the Scavenger Hunt, you can not represent Erotica for Karoake
• If you participate in this event, you can still enter other events. For example if you do Scavenger Hunt for TANG, you can do the Karaoke for TANG
• All judgements by FlashRedux are final during the event

Event #6

Sixth Event - Simon Says - Thursday, August 16th - Main - Time 8:30 PM Eastern US Time



Rules:

• 2 men and 2 women from each server compete
• Men and women will go at different times
• Game commences once the official caller says "Simon Says Game Begins" over the mic
• You must only do each task that are preceded by the words "Simon Says"
• You must do each Simon Says task
• Cam must be positioned so that we can see your head and body while standing up
• Be prepared to lose one layer of clothing (one top piece and one bottom piece)
• You will not be stripped beyond that one layer of clothing
• Spotters will assist in making sure people are following the rules
• If you fail to complete a Simon Says task or do something Simon doesn't say, you are eliminated
• Server owners have final say on which four people will represent their server, however if others want to participate and a server does not have a full roster, they can participate fir that server. For example if Main only has two people in the contest and all the other rosters are full, you can join Main's team even if the owner's unavailable to validate your particpation

Tess thats up to the server owners on that, i have no control over it. In the past they have, but I can't speak for them.
